About Shri Ram Stuti

Ram Stuti, also known by its opening line as "Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman," describes Lord Ram's divine form, his compassion, and his victory over the demons Khar and Dushan. Traditionally, three verses from the Ramcharitmanas' Bal Kand are appended to it, where Goddess Gauri blesses Sita with her marriage to Shri Ram. Unlike a typical aarti, it has no repeating refrain — all eight verses are read straight through, in sequence.

This page presents the full text in clean Devanagari, with a simple meaning for every verse. Text size can be adjusted, and the full reading can also be printed.

About Goswami Tulsidas

Goswami Tulsidas (c. 1532–1623 CE) is among Hindi literature's most revered poet-saints, and the author of the Ramcharitmanas. The first five verses of this stuti, in mixed Sanskrit-Awadhi, come from his work Vinaya Patrika, while the final three are drawn from the Ramcharitmanas' Bal Kand, where Goddess Gauri blesses Sita with her marriage to Shri Ram. Most popular collections present both together as a single 'Shri Ram Stuti', which is why they're presented together here as well.
